Xiaomi Pad 6S Pro 12.4, Redmi K60 Ultra receive HyperOS Experience Enhanced Beta update

Today, Xiaomi has announced that Xiaomi Tablet 6S Pro 12.4 and Redmi K60 Extreme Edition are ready for the HyperOS Experience Enhanced Edition Beta upgrade. The new beta version numbers are OS1.1.3.0.VNXCNXM.BETA for Tablet 6S Pro, while for Redmi K60 Extreme Edition, it is OS1.1.3.0.VMLCNXM.BETA with an approximate size of the system package of 6.2 GB.

Overview of the Update In the announcement, Xiaomi points out some further improvements and optimizations to system animations, while at the same time improving power consumption, especially for extreme processes of running games at single-frame rates. All this forms part of the tuning of Xiaomi HyperOS into a motion of smoother and more efficient performance.

Official Update Notes

  • System Improvements: More organic animations of the system make it much more smooth and responsive overall.
  • Power Optimization: Much power optimization has been laid for gameplay in such a way that the consumption of power is considerably efficient, thus saving battery life.
  • New Kernel Technologies: Actually, this beta branch update is introducing a number of new kernel-layer technologies which bring some very nice system performance improvements, although it also may carry with it some instabilities because it is still in its early stages of development.

Important Beta Information

As an independent branch from Xiaomi’s main HyperOS, this beta is targeted at users who want to experience the very latest features of the system before the features trickle down to stable releases. Since it’s still in beta, instabilities may be encountered. Xiaomi recommends that users back up important data before proceeding with updating to avoid potential data loss.

Upgrade Instructions

  1. Backup Important Data: Always make sure that, before doing the upgrade, you have backed up all your important files and data in case the system experiences unpredictable instabilities during its beta phase.
  2. System Package Size: Around 6.2 GB, Xiaomi Tablet 6S Pro 12.4 and Redmi K60 Extreme Edition have system packages in size.
  3. Release Notes: As detailed as Xiaomi may have made the announcement, the release notes will be specific to each user’s phone update logs.

Xiaomi Mi 14 Gets Beta Promotion Recently, Xiaomi distributed the  HyperOS Experience Enhanced Edition Beta for the Xiaomi Mi 14-version 1.1.3.0.VNCCNXM.BETA. The Mi 14 system package is a little smaller, with a size of 5.9 GB.

The beta upgrade for Xiaomi’s latest devices is aimed at being a major leap toward user experience with refined system animations and bringing in better power management. However, users need to prepare themselves for potential bugs or issues that usually arrive on the back of early beta releases. The new kernel solutions tested in this version could mean exciting improvements in future stable releases.
