Side Toolbox gets brand new animation with HyperOS Enhanced

The newest HyperOS Experience Enhanced Version Beta further updated the previously named “Global Sidebar” now as Side Toolbox, with smart and seamless call-out animation. This update is meant to enrich both the visual and functional experiences by making the animation smoother and more fluid, in keeping with the commitments of Xiaomi to create an intuitively used interface.

But, then again, the update is part of the HyperOS push, consisting of system-level improvements: better and more natural system animations, and power consumption optimizations in gaming environments. This new animation of the Side Toolbox really fits well into these broader improvements that let users quickly access tools and applications in a much cooler way.

Beyond this, the company has been working on the HyperOS system through Beta programs, like the 1.1.3.0 Beta HyperOS that was rolled out to devices such as the Xiaomi 14. The trial version, which is focused on enhancements in the core experience, is expected to push further across Xiaomi’s ecosystem. These will affect popular models, from the Redmi K60 all the way to the Xiaomi Mi Tablet 6S Pro, at the latest, by the end of September.

If you want to get new animations of Side Toolbox, update your HyperOS Security app to latest version.

Continuous iterations by Xiaomi on HyperOS show the commitment of the company towards perfecting the system’s user experience to deliver functionality improvements and visual refinement even in mundane interactions, such as those possible with the new Side Toolbox.
