For the Xiaomi SU7, Xiaomi Motors has already released the Surge HyperOS 1.3.0 update, which optimizes functions such as city navigation assistance and small road traffic functionality. Below is a comprehensive look at its updated features and enhancements:

1. Intelligent Driving Functionality

  • City Navigation: In-car real-time launching of the city pilot assist function will be enabled once the smart driving safety mileage requirement is reached. Smart Driving Mileage can be viewed by users through the use of the Xiaomi Auto App.
  • Optimization of Small Road Traffic: Better environmental modeling for improved real road condition simulation. Smoother maneuvers such as lane changes, overtakes, and cross-line avoidance will now be performed by vehicles.
  • Traffic Light Optimization: This covers the enhanced detail in recognizing a traffic light and how to handle an intersection. Speed Limit & Lane Logic Optimization: Smoothening intersection navigation by finetuning for efficiency, especially in choosing lanes and turning at intersections.

2. Smart Parking Improvements

  • Parking Assist Speed: The user can now choose between the normal and a bit faster parking assist speeds.
  • New Parking Types: Mechanical parking spaces are now supported.

3. Active Safety Features

  • Low-Speed Collision Avoidance Improvements: Due to improved obstacle detection, it ensures improved accuracy in obstacle detection, particularly around tight corners and near curbs or anti-collision poles.
  • Improved Object Detection: Greater identification of a wider range of vehicles, pedestrians, and other environmental hazards through intersections.

  • Statistics of Parking Energy Consumption: View the precise energy consumption of trips and parking periods, including self-charging afterwards.

  • Tail Wing Welcome Feature: Selected models have this feature that enables users to set the rear wing to deploy when the vehicle is unlocked.

Enhanced Ask Wherever You Go functionality: where available, offers expanded information and fun facts (including river names, the origin of those names, and more).

6. Enhancements to Music and Audio Features

Introduce the addition of four new audio preset modes-Standard, Pop, Classical, and Folk-that will extend more varied sound options to the user.
