Leaked green color of Redmi 14C details bared

Only few days since we first reported on the listing of the Redmi 14C in a Vietnamese online store comes a new image leak, showing us the fifth green color variant for the device. Previously, we said the Redmi 14C would be available in blue and black; there are hints pointing to its availability in green, too. Today, those hints are confirmed by leaked images showing off that green variant.

The online retailer has now announced that the very same model, Redmi 14C, will be released on August 31st. Moving on, the design and features of the phone are then shown in the images:

  • Display: 6.88 inches
  • Camera: 50 MP AI camera.
  • Battery: 5160 mAh with support for fast charging of 18W

It follows the previously leaked design elements, including:

  • Dual Rear Cameras: More 2018-esque design language going on here, with a large camera module similar to the Xiaomi 14 Ultra.
  • Waterdrop Notch: This notch, located at the top of the front display, was a design decision reminiscent of a few years ago, along with a pretty thick chin.
  • Space Effect Back Cover: This back cover design reflects a space effect, which is unique in terms of aesthetic for entry-level devices.

On the storage and variant fronts, the rumor has it coming in variants of 4+64 GB, 4+128 GB, and 6+128 GB. Interestingly, the website codes also revealed a term for “green” in Vietnamese, which was noted corresponding to today’s leak. Moreover, these tipsters said the device will be powered by the Helio G81 chipset. We reported this about two months ago. The Redmi 14C will also come with a twin variant under the POCO brand called POCO C75. It’s going to be fascinating to see how the market accepts this entry-level, firstly from Redmi, with the newly confirmed ‘green’ color variant bumping up its appeal as it inches closer to an official release date.
