The best way to maintain security is to keep sending system updates for devices. As ppr example the redmi note 10 pro. If you as technology providers do not provide it and do not give the possibility to users to make a plan to exchange devices to be more updated, that will lead to stop being so good and popular and safe.
I already do most of those things anyway on a daily basis plus I have Kaspersky anti virus which is the best I’ve tried. The one thing I won’t do is install anything by the back door i.e. not approved by Xiaomi. My phone is nearly 3 years old with about 85% battery capacity remaining so I’ve no intention of changing it anytime soon.
I use the Turbo 3 China ROM. I can install anu themes without having to go through the china app store, no fonts also, hardly customizable. Ir also insists that I use only system ringtones. Plus, there is always a delay in receiving notifications. HyperOS seems to block Western based apps. The old MIUI was better.
