POCO C75 soon to be launched as budget king

POCO has made a name for itself in value-for-money devices with aggressive pricing and feature-rich devices. Now, the company is gearing up to launch another device, the POCO C75, as part of its C series lineup of devices. This latest offering from POCO’s C series, significant for budget-friendly options for price-sensitive customers, has been passed through FCC certification and is all geared up to make a global and Indian market entry.

Features and Specs of POCO C75

You can see the FCC report of the POCO C75 below.

Design and Operating System

The POCO C75 will come out of the box with HyperOS 1.0, ensuring a seamless and responsive user experience. This makes the new operating system embedded with enhancements and optimizations catering to customer needs at POCO.

Connectivity

Knowing that 5G is the prerogative of the modern world, the POCO C75 stays true to its goal: bringing reliable performance sans this feature and relying on 4G LTE connectivity. However, this step surely keeps it economical while powerful for many users who do not need 5G services right now.

Regional Availability

The smartphone will be available in both India and global markets, with specific model numbers assigned to each region:

  • Model Number India. : 2410FPCC5I
  • Model Number Global: 2410FPCC5G

These model identifiers serve to individualize regional variants, making sure that the right one exists in each market. Also short model numbers are C3F and C3F2.

NFC and Processor

One of the major featured features on the POCO C75 is the inclusion of an NFC option on some variants, making it an even more practical device that will turn the phone into one which will enable users to make contactless payments and also connect with other devices using NFC.

Under the hood, the POCO C75 is equipped with a MediaTek Helio G81 chipset. Sure, this is actually a step back from the Helio G85 on last year’s model. Perhaps a mistake made in Mi Code is that Helio G81 was written instead of Helio G86.

Codenames and Rebranding

Now, the POCO C75 has some quite interesting codenames “flame” and “blaze”. Surprisingly, one “flame” was a Pixel 4 codename some five years ago. Moreover, the POCO C75 is to be a rebranded Redmi 14C that was previously leaked. This is just another way Xiaomi can optimize production and marketing across various markets with different brand names.

Redmi 14C spotted in GSMA IMEI database, launch soon

The POCO C75 seems to be turning into a very attractive option for any consumer looking for a smartphone that perfectly balances between cost and performance. Sporting NFC support, along with a decent processor and coming out of the box with HyperOS 1.0, it is going to be really stiff competition in the low-end smartphone market.

With the continuous increase of POCO in its C series, the C75 becomes a testament to how this brand is committed to loading its global audience with value-packed devices. Keep an eye on its release since it would bring forward a good mix of features at a budget-friendly price tag.
